Eagles earn two wins against Lake Highland

In Game 1, the Eagles were led by Isabella Morales and Emily Scott.
Morales went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and Emily Scott went 1 for 2 with a
home run. Courtney Peters got the win and Emily Scott got the save.
Final score was 10-6.
Game 2 was the exciting game of the day. Trailing 12-9 in the bottom of
the 4th inning, the Eagles scored 4 runs to win the game 13-12. Madison
Maness scored the winning run on a wild pitch by Lake Highland.
"I was very proud of our girls for not quitting. We talked previously
about staying positive and never giving up, and it showed today," said
Coach Poppell.
The Eagles improved the season record to 8-3 and will host Trinity Prep
for their final regular season game on April 2 at 10:00am.
